About Us

The company being formed by Dave Williams in January 2002, from a sole trader business the previous year, following a decision to go alone and commence a business for himself after some 30 years in the Hydraulics Industry, working in the mobile & industrial sectors during that time, for major original manufacturers such as Vickers Limited (Racine), Vickers Systems, Sterling Hydraulics, Brown & Sharp (Double A) & Staffa.

Throughout that time working both in technical & sales environments, achieving positions such as Technical & Deputy Managing Director.

Today our company provides direct technical support to customers that are multi-national, local & public sector, in applications that range from waste disposal to F1 racing car test beds, from private dwelling applications to controls of multi ton link spans, swing bridges & lift bridges, to architectural applications such as the Paddington rolling bridge.

Dave Williams Managing Director of DJW Consulting Limited is known for the detail design of the operation & rotation of the complex hydraulic control and interfaces for the widely publicised & acclaimed worlds first Rolling bridge at Paddington. DJW Consulting was awarded the Structural Steel Design Award for 2005, for its involvement with the Paddington Rolling Bridge.
